COCKROACHES CONTROL IN NOTTINGHAM

Cockroach Controles | Technokill Pest Solutions

Cockroaches in homes are a health hazard to many children and families because of the risks cockroach antigens pose to asthma sufferers. Traditionally, cockroaches were controlled because they are offensive, leaving behind an awful smell and cause gastrointestinal and respiratory illness. Sometimes they are confused with black beetles from the garden, cockroaches are distinguished by their very long whip-like antennae, flat oval bodies, and rapid, jerky gait.

They are rarely able to survive out of doors in the British climate but thrive around the heating ducts and boiler rooms of large centrally heated buildings e.g.

hospitals, bakeries, hotel, and restaurant kitchens, laundries, and blocks of flats. They cluster around pipes, stoves, and sinks, especially in humid areas.

The two common species of Cockroaches (Oriental and German Cockroaches) are found in the UK
Cockroaches grow in stages – from nymphs to maturity.

Both species eat any sort of human and pets food and are Nocturnal can cause various diseases.

How We Can Help?

We treat all rooms which have Cockroaches by using fogging, residual insecticide, and gel baits.

⦁ We will only carry out a partial treatment (one of 3 rooms for example) at the customer’s request but not successful and not recommended.

⦁ Two treatments are now recommended for Cockroachess.

Before Our Visit:

Please vacuum and clean the property thoroughly.

⦁ Throw vacuum cleaner’s contents in the dustbin and put a new bag in or the hoover should be washed out as per manufacturer’s guidelines.

All items such as shoes, bags, etc. should be taken off the floor especially at floor and wall junctions.

During Our Visit:

Please keep away from treated property at least for 3-4 hours or until completely dry depending upon weather temperature.

After Our Visit:

Do not sweep, brush, mop, vacuum, or clean the area that has been sprayed for at least 14 days, this is to let the insecticide work through the insects’ life cycle which we are trying to break.

Clean up the house, don’t leave food around.

⦁ If after 14 days there is still activity then a second treatment may be required.

⦁ All second treatments are charged at 50% of the cost for the first treatment.
